Renewed Living Homes dba Progressive Community Services is seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated individuals to join our Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) team.
Our CSU program provides short term residential support for individuals experiencing a mental health crisis. As a CSU Aide, you will play a critical role in helping individuals regain stability in a safe and supportive environment.

Position Overview
Under the supervision of a QMHP, Clinical Supervisor, or Clinical Director, the CSU Aide assists with providing support to individuals receiving residential crisis stabilization services and helps maintain a safe therapeutic environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining a safe and supportive environment for residents
- Provide sight and sound supervision for individuals on the unit
- Assist with meal and snack preparation
- Support residents with daily living tasks such as laundry
- Prepare rooms for admissions and discharges
- Assist with transportation to appointments when necessary
- Help coordinate offsite appointments and services
- Monitor supplies needed on the unit and report shortages
- Answer phones and assist with general unit operations
- Attend required staff meetings and trainings
- Maintain professionalism and positive interactions with residents and staff
- Perform other duties as assigned by clinical leadership
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Virginia Driver’s License
- Ability to work effectively in stressful situations
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
Preferred
- Experience in behavioral health, residential services, or human services
- CPR / First Aid Certification
- Knowledge of behavioral management techniques
Additional Requirements
- Ability to complete DBHDS required training upon hire
- Current TB test or ability to obtain upon hire
- Reliable transportation
