We’re a locally owned coffee shop and bakery in TerraBella Village offering fresh roasted coffee, made-from-scratch baked goods, breakfast, and lunch all served in a warm, welcoming space.
Job Summary: This position may require up to 35hrs/wk and will have a main focus of providing exceptional quality menu items prepared fresh for our customers, both on the line and in the bakery. This position requires a dynamic and relational individual who is willing to tackle any task, no matter how big or small, with creativity, patience, and a smile.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Serve our customers with a smile and engage in a positive way
- Bring your creative ideas for menu items and how our menu can enhance current offerings of snacks and pastries to improve the overall experience and knowledge of customers.
- Prepare all menu items to exhibit and adhere to our quality program.
- Be a key part of a team who is ultimately responsible for physical upkeep of the store; ensuring a welcoming, safe, and fun environment.
- Follow cash handling and point of sale procedures accurately (if applicable)
- Ensure the interior and exterior of a location meet sanitary, safety, and aesthetic requirements.
- Notify local management to any needs for the business and our customers: operational, equipment, or any necessary improvements that may cause unsafe conditions
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety rules
- Attend, and ultimately apply, training sessions designed to increase baking knowledge and work relational skills as needed

Education, Experience, Credentials:
- No degree requirements however culinary education preferred. May substitute a degree with 2 years of relevant experience.
- Previous experience required, preferably 1+ years of relevant experience.

- While performing the essential duties of this job, the individual is regularly required to talk, hear and use hands to finger. The individual frequently is required to stand and walk
- Works in a retail outlet environment that includes a showroom, storage, and counter service.
- Be able to occasionally lift up to thirty (30) pounds and frequently more using a team lift approach.
- Able to climb stairs
- Safely operate essential equipment to a service retail business that offers a food menu (i.e. ovens, dough sheeters, mixers, laminator, stovetops, sinks, etc)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
