Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, and common areas, ensuring all surfaces are spotless and well-maintained
- Perform floor care duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to keep all surfaces looking their best
- Restock supplies like toiletries, linens, towels, and amenities to ensure guest needs are met promptly
- Maintain cleanliness in public spaces such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms to uphold the hotel’s high standards of hygiene
- Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and guest satisfaction
- Support team efforts in deep cleaning projects or special sanitation tasks as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments is highly preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, waxing, and polishing floors
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering exceptional cleanliness standards
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively throughout shifts
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is a plus; experience with industrial cleaning methods is advantageous
