- IPR runs 4-5 patients/day with 60-90 min sessions, clinical ladder available
- M-F 8-5, light weekend rotation (~3 shifts/quarter at OT rate), generous PTO
About the Role
Now hiring a Float PT for a non-profit hospital in the Birmingham area to rotate across acute care, inpatient rehab, and outpatient, covering census bumps, leaves, and vacation. In acute you'll see the full medical mix (stroke, neuro, ortho, cardiac, general medical) with rehab aides assisting on setup and transfers. IPR carries a medical debility, ortho, and neuro caseload, and the hospital-affiliated outpatient clinic runs General, Sports, and Neuro teams. A formal mentorship program supports new grads and clinicians transitioning from other settings, with a clinical ladder, CE stipend, and 401(k) match.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) required
- AL state PT license or eligibility
- New grads and PTs from other practice settings welcome
- Strong interdisciplinary teamwork skills
