Who We’re Looking For:
We are looking for a reliable, responsible, hands-on person. You do not need previous restoration or mitigation experience. We will teach you the restoration side of the job.
What matters most is that you are someone we can count on, who works hard, follows instructions, takes care of equipment and customers, and is willing to learn. Experience with small demolition, construction, or handyman-type work is required. Restoration or mitigation experience is a plus, but not required.
Job Summary:
As a Water and Fire Damage Restoration Technician, you will be responsible for performing on-site mitigation and restoration tasks. This includes assessing damage, removing water or fire-damaged materials, setting up drying equipment, and ensuring the site is properly cleaned and restored.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform water, fire, and storm damage cleanup and mitigation.
- Assist with small demolition and removal of damaged materials
- Set up and monitor drying equipment
- Clean and prepare affected areas
- Take photos and document work completed.
- Communicate professionally with customers.
- Keep the job site, tools, and company vehicle clean and organized.
- Follow safety procedures and use PPE properly.
- Learn restoration procedures and industry standards through hands-on training.
Skills and Qualifications
- Problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and readiness for hands-on field work.
- Flexible part-time role,nbut with 24/7 availability required for emergency response
- Ability to work in challenging conditions and lift heavy equipment
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on delivering a positive customer experience.
- Prior experience in water and fire mitigation or related IICRC certifications (WRT, FSRT, etc.) is plus but not required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $26.60 - $35.00 per hour
