Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Chiropractic Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support the chiropractor in delivering exceptional patient care, ensuring a smooth and efficient office environment. Your responsibilities will include assisting with patient assessments, managing office tasks, and providing excellent patient service. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology to effectively communicate with patients and support their treatment plans.
Responsibilities
- Assist the chiropractor during patient assessments and treatments
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all necessary equipment is ready for use
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the office
- Educate patients on treatment plans and provide guidance on exercises or therapies
- Handle administrative tasks such as billing, insurance verification, and inventory management
- Foster a welcoming environment for patients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have
Skills
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology to facilitate effective communication
- Understanding of anatomy and physiology to assist in patient assessments
- Excellent patient service skills to ensure a positive experience for all patients
- Ability to perform basic patient assessments under the guidance of the chiropractor
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient care and comfort
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
