Responsibilities
- Teach Physics and (possibly Chemistry) to students in grades 10 and 11 afternoons M-Th
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and educational standards
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet individual needs
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic achievement and personal growth
- Develop and maintain relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure effective communication and collaboration
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and other school-wide initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Physics or related field (or equivalent)
- 2+ years of experience teaching secondary students
- Strong understanding of Physics curriculum and educational standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with students with diverse learning styles
- Commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
