Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Assist customers with past invoices
Ensure all billing is up to date from prior day's invoices and tickets
Quote prices and prepare sales orders
Determine the make, type, quality and availability of desired merchandise and make suggestions that meet the customer’s needs
Entering proper information to generate accurate invoices for pick up or delivery
Accurately locate and pick products for order fulfillment
Estimate date of deliveries based on knowledge of production and delivery schedules
Assess and determine warranty items while ensuring adherence to manufacturer policies and meeting the specific needs of each customer
File warranties for customers to ensure they receive credit for said items in a timely manner
Keep accurate notes of all interactions and organize paperwork appropriately
Stock, clean, and maintain show room
Schedule warehouse transfers as needed
Other retail warehouse duties assigned as needed
HVAC experience in relation to parts and equipment (Required)
Excellent problem solving, analytical, and organizational skills
Strong attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent written and oral communication
Competent computer skills including Microsoft Office suite
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Ability to handle confidential information with great sensitivity
Able to lift 50 pounds and operate a forklift
Able to pass a drug test and background screening
Education
Working Conditions
Primarily based at the interior retail sales counter with regular movement into warehouse or stock areas to assist with inventory and customer pickups. This position requires frequent standing and walking throughout the shift and around the property, with regular lifting of products and materials up to 50 lbs total without assistance. There may be occasional use of ladders, pallet jacks, or hand trucks (training provided as needed) with some exposure to temperature fluctuations when assisting with curbside pickups or entering warehouse areas.
