Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled HVAC Foreman to join our team and drive excellence in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems management. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems across various large construction projects. Your expertise will ensure that all systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities
- Manage the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems on construction sites, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety protocols.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately install and service HVAC equipment.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, and Primavera for project planning, scheduling, and documentation.
- Supervise subcontractors and onsite personnel to ensure work is completed efficiently, safely, and within budget.
- Conduct quality control inspections and ensure all work complies with OSHA standards and other relevant regulations.
- Perform system testing using tools like ohmmeters to verify electrical connections and system integrity.
- Collaborate with project managers on budgeting, contract management, and project scheduling to meet deadlines and client expectations.
Skills
- Extensive experience in construction site environments with a strong understanding of construction management practices.
- Proficiency in construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, and other construction estimating tools.
- Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical troubleshooting of HVAC systems.
- Demonstrated supervising experience with the ability to lead teams effectively on complex projects.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices for construction site safety.
- Strong project scheduling skills with familiarity in Primavera P6 or similar tools for managing timelines.
- Ability to read technical schematics and use testing equipment such as ohmmeters for diagnostics.
- Excellent management skills with a focus on quality control, budgeting oversight, and contract administration.
