Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during a wide range of procedures with precision and care.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental instruments, and ensuring all equipment is functioning correctly using aseptic techniques.
- Take dental radiographs (X-ray imaging), adhering to safety protocols and infection control standards.
- Manage patient records efficiently Eaglesoft while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy.
- Perform chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques
- Maintain a clean and organized clinic environment by following infection control protocols
Skills
- Experience with X-ray procedures
- Skilled in infection control practices
- Ability to perform vital signs assessment and assist with pediatric dentistry procedures confidently.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient information at all times.
- Excellent communication skills
