Front Desk Team Member – ACTIVE Pet Care Environment (Read Full Requirements Before Applying)

Morgan’s Paws Pet Care Center is hiring a serious, dependable, and physically capable Front Desk Team Member. This is NOT a sit-down receptionist job. If you are looking for a quiet office environment, this position will NOT be the right fit.
We are looking for someone who can handle a fast-paced, high-energy dog care setting while delivering excellent customer service.
NON-NEGOTIABLE SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:
- Available 4–5 days per week
- Must work Saturdays and around holidays
- Must be flexible to work ALL shifts when scheduled:
- 6:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM
THIS ROLE IS PHYSICALLY DEMANDING:
- On your feet most of the day
- Moving quickly throughout the building
- Handling and guiding dogs over 100 lbs
- You WILL get jumped on, pulled, scratched, and may be nipped in a busy dog environment
- Not suitable for someone uncomfortable around large or energetic dogs
DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Heavy computer work, scheduling, and multitasking
- Answering phones and greeting clients professionally
- Managing busy check-ins and check-outs
- Assisting with dog movement and maintaining safe flow throughout the facility
WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO IS:
- Extremely reliable and punctual
- Confident with computers and able to multitask under pressure
- Friendly, outgoing, and able to communicate clearly with clients
- Calm, assertive, and comfortable enforcing structure in a busy environment
- Previous animal handling or kennel/daycare experience strongly preferred
