Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct social-emotional support to elementary students, including crisis intervention and counseling
- Conduct assessments to identify barriers to learning, addressing attendance, behavioral, and social concerns
- Facilitate group sessions and classroom presentations on topics like conflict resolution, bullying prevention, and coping skills
- Serve as a liaison between students, families, school staff, and outside community resources
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to develop and monitor interventions and strategies for student success
- Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with school policies and regulations
