Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Delivery Expert specializing in Roll Off Dumpsters! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely operating various heavy-duty trucks, including front loader, rear loader, and roll-off trucks, to deliver and pick up dumpsters efficiently across multiple locations. Your expertise in commercial driving and mechanical knowledge will ensure smooth load and unload processes while maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a variety of trucks such as roll-off, front loader, rear loader, flatbed, and dump trucks with manual transmissions to deliver and retrieve dumpsters.
- Load and unload dumpsters using appropriate equipment, ensuring secure placement and adherence to safety protocols.
- Drive heavy-duty vehicles over diverse terrains while maintaining compliance with all traffic laws and company policies.
- Conduct routine inspections of trucks for mechanical issues, fluid levels, tire condition, and safety features before and after each shift.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams to coordinate delivery schedules and address any logistical challenges promptly.
- Assist with the maintenance of trucks and equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries and pickups.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with dump trucks, tractor-trailers, or flatbed trucks.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance checks.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record; experience operating manual transmission vehicles preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy loads safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly.
- Familiarity with different truck types including roll-off, front loader, rear loader, dump trucks, and flatbeds.
- Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, efficiency, and attention to detail.
- Prior experience in delivery driver roles involving load & unload operations is highly desirable. Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
