The Arts Center is looking for a creative, organized, and energetic Recreation Program Specialist to help bring our educational programs and volunteer community to life! In this role, you will be the heartbeat of our arts programming, helping to manage classes, inspire volunteers, and provide top-notch experiences for artists of all ages.

As our Recreation Program Specialist, your day-to-day will be dynamic and rewarding. Some of your tasks include:

Assisting in implementing and managing a diverse lineup of Arts Center programs for adults, youth, families, and special events.

Recruiting, coordinating, and overseeing an enthusiastic team of volunteers who help keep our programs running smoothly.

Researching current art trends, evaluate existing programs, and recommend adjustments to boost community participation.

Manage class rosters, plan schedules, and prep materials for all of our educational programs.

Provide excellent, friendly customer service (in-person and over the phone), handle program registrations, manage ticket sales, and track program supplies.

Maintain precise records for attendance, class participation, and in-kind donations, and prepare twice-weekly financial deposits.
What You’ll Bring:

An Artistic Eye: Practical experience with visual or fine arts programming. (Teaching experience is a huge plus!)

Great Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with a knack for excellent customer service.

Tech Savvy: Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office, Publisher, Adobe Creative Suite, and registration software.
This is a part-time position working Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with occasional weekend shifts.
