Key Responsibilities
1、Oversee the day‑to‑day operational management of warehouse operations, inland drayage, cross‑border delivery, container loading/unloading, and last‑mile distribution in the Greater Los Angeles area.
2、Develop logistics dispatch plans, optimize trucking routes, and control overall transportation and warehousing costs.
3、Manage third‑party vendors including drayage carriers, warehousing service providers, and customs brokers – handle performance reviews, commercial negotiations, contract management, and compliance monitoring.
4、Track all logistics milestones end‑to‑end; promptly resolve exceptions such as delays, damages, lost shipments, and customs holds to ensure on‑time delivery and proof of receipt.
5、Establish and continuously improve logistics SOPs, inventory management policies, and inbound/outbound inspection standards; supervise the team in executing these procedures.
6、Coordinate with headquarters in China, overseas clients, and local partners; provide regular updates on operational metrics, potential risks, and improvement action plans.
7、Manage the monthly logistics budget, conduct cost analysis, and consistently propose cost‑reduction and efficiency‑enhancement initiatives.
Qualifications
1、Proven hands‑on logistics management experience in the U.S., with preference for candidates familiar with Port of Los Angeles operations, local drayage, warehouse management, and U.S. customs clearance fundamentals.
2、Fluent in English (both written and spoken) – capable of independent business negotiations, email correspondence, and on‑site coordination; bilingual in Mandarin is a strong plus.
3、Proficient in Excel and WMS/TMS systems; able to independently generate operational reports and data dashboards.
4、Strong problem‑solving and post‑event analysis skills – comfortable handling peak‑season surges, cargo anomalies, last‑minute container swaps, and schedule changes.
5、Must hold valid U.S. work authorization (Green Card, H‑1B visa, EAD, or U.S. citizenship) and be available to work full‑time in Los Angeles on a long‑term basis.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $155,000.25 per year
