Walsh Trucking Co. is a 65+ year old family owned company and a leader in the wood residual & waste product transport industry for the Pacific Northwest. We are looking to add a Trailer Mechanic to our growing team in Troutdale, OR.
Shift: Day or Evening
Key Responsibilities:
- Following the direction of the shift lead
- Performs preventative maintenance on trailers
- Self-motivated employees a must
- Knowledge of air brake systems
- Experience with 12v electrical
- The ability to repair and replace tires as needed
- Knowledge of wheel end maintenance
- Provide own set of tools
- Fill out parts requests and repair orders
- Understanding of air ride suspension
- Basic welding experience is a plus
- The ability to lift 50 pounds
- PPE provided and required
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years experience in the industry or equivalent schooling
- High school diploma or GED
Benefits and Compensation:
