Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in plumbing systems, with the ability to work effectively on construction sites. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in both residential and commercial settings. The Plumber will also collaborate with other trades such as HVAC and carpentry to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- Assemble and install valves, fittings, and fixtures.
- Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or potential problems.
- Perform heavy lifting as required for various installations and repairs.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure project timelines are met.
- Utilize welding techniques for pipe joining when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Plumber or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems and tools.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Experience with HVAC systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with carpentry practices is beneficial.
- Capability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as part of job duties.
- Valid commercial driving license is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and good one on one customer relations.
