Duties
- Review ship repair contract work specifications to ensure quality requirements are correctly specified
- Develop and execute product/process surveillance, inspection, and audit plans on contracted ship repair work; record results and draft formal feedback to contractor quality organizations; maintain results database
- Build and maintain matrices, graphs, metrics, and written reports in MS Office and Navy proprietary systems
Required
- Bachelor's in quality engineering, systems engineering, or statistical application — OR 5 years' practical experience in those fields (degree substitutable)
- 5+ years performing work specification review per Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual Volume 4E and NAVSEA Standard Items
- 5+ years with U.S. Navy contract clauses, ship specifications, ANSI/ISO/ASQ standards, ISO 9001 quality systems, military specs, industrial standards, contract drawings, and shipbuilding practices
- Eligibility for RD and NNPI access; ability to receive, store, and transfer classified material
Pay: $80,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
