Role Overview
We are hiring a Field Events Team Lead to oversee and support a small team at home shows, fairs, festivals, and community events.
This is a hands-on leadership position where you will be actively involved on the event floor—guiding your team, engaging with homeowners, and driving qualified in-home appointments for our sales team.
You will play a key role in ensuring strong team performance, smooth event execution, and consistent lead generation results.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of 4–6 Event Promoters at live events
- Drive performance to achieve 15–20 qualified in-home appointments per event
- Engage directly with homeowners to qualify interest in remodeling services
- Support booth setup, presentation quality, and customer flow
- Provide real-time coaching and guidance to team members during events
- Track performance metrics including appointments, demos, and conversions
- Assist in onboarding and training new team members
- Submit daily event summaries and performance reports
Typical Event Flow
- Arrive early to review booth setup and event strategy
- Conduct a quick team briefing and set daily goals
- Actively support the team in customer engagement throughout the event
- Adjust approach as needed to improve results during slow periods
- End of day: review performance and submit reports
Performance Metrics
- Appointments per hour
- Number of qualified in-home appointments per event
- Conversion rate from appointment to sale
- Lead quality
- Team attendance and performance consistency
What We’re Looking For
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience in sales, promotions, events, or field marketing (minimum 2 years preferred)
- Comfortable leading a team in a fast-paced, public-facing environment
- Results-driven and motivated by performance targets
- Able to stay organized while multitasking during live events
- Positive, proactive, and team-oriented mindset
- Willingness to work weekends and travel to event locations (up to 40 miles)
- Able to stand and remain active for extended periods
