We're seeking a dedicated Full-Time Line Cook to join our caring and mission-driven community. This position works 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM or 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM, with schedules varying based on departmental needs. Enjoy one weekday off each week and every other weekend off.
The Line Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality meals according to standardized recipes and dietary requirements while maintaining food safety, sanitation, and quality standards. This role is an important part of creating an exceptional dining experience for our residents and guests.

What You’ll Do as a CLV Cook II:
Prepare and cook made-to-order dishes, including those with complex ingredients, following standardized recipes and presentation standards.
Operate kitchen equipment and utensils to measure, mix, wash, peel, cut, and prepare a variety of ingredients including fruits, vegetables, meats, poultry, and fish.
Plan daily food production by reviewing menus, estimating quantities, requisitioning supplies, and maintaining accurate records and logs.
Ensure proper handling of special dietary meals and accommodate specific resident or guest needs as required.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all work areas, tools, and equipment in compliance with food safety and regulatory standards.
Rotate inventory in refrigerators and dry storage, receive and stock supplies, and assist with inventory management.
Support other dining operations and events as needed, ensuring high-quality food and service delivery.
Completes required training, including ServSafe Food Handler certification within 90 days of hire, and participate in continuing education and committee work as assigned.
Follow all departmental policies and procedures to ensure consistency, safety, and satisfaction in food service delivery.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need as a Cook II:
High School diploma or equivalent experience.
5 or more years of cooking experience in a fine dining restaurant style setting or a certificate or culinary degree from an accredited institution and 2 years of cooking experience in a fine dining setting.
Knowledge of sanitation, safety and food handling techniques, rules and regulations as defined by local, state, and federal guidelines.
Serv-Safe Certification (if expired, recertification within 90 days of hire).
