We're a legal marketing agency in San Francisco. We've been at this since 2005, we're independently owned, and we work with plaintiff personal injury, trial law firms, and many other practice areas across the country.
This role is the operational center of client delivery. When a client emails asking for a new attorney bio on their site, a case result added, or wants to know what a Search Console notice means, you're who they reach. You'll publish blog content, schedule news releases, build landing pages and forms for campaigns, produce and distribute press releases, and keep dozens of moving pieces on schedule across our client roster.
Formatting content, updating templates, moving items through a publishing queue, doing the same careful pass across fifteen different sites and always ready to quickly answer a question for a client by phone, zoom, or email.
The rhythm is roughly: responsive and warm in the morning inbox, then heads-down and uninterrupted for long stretches of production work. You need to be genuinely good at both halves, and comfortable switching between them.
A large part of your day runs through an internal platform we develop in-house, and it changes constantly — new modules, capabilities that didn't exist last quarter, workflows that work differently than they did last month. This is not a job spent inside an off-the-shelf stack with a tidy certification path and a help center for every question. You'll be learning something new on a regular basis, and often you'll be one of the first people to use a feature at all. If that sounds like a headache, this is the wrong seat. If it sounds like the interesting part, read on.
What you'll do
- Own the client request queue — respond immediately, set expectations, close the loop
- Publish blog posts and pages in WordPress, formatting content to spec
- Edit basic template modules and features, update case results, build Gravity Forms for campaigns
- Produce and distribute press releases for clients and our newswire brand
- Prepare materials for client meetings and attend as the delivery contact
- Monitor Google Search Console and handle first-pass responses to client SEO questions
- Escalate development work to our engineering team with clear, complete tickets
- Manage integrations with multiple platforms.
What we're looking for
- 2+ years in an agency, in-house marketing team, or similar client-facing role
- Working knowledge of WordPress — you can confidently edit pages, publish posts, and work inside a page builder without breaking things
- Strong written communication; you can answer a client email clearly and warmly in three sentences
- Resourceful and self-directed. When you hit something you haven't done before, your first instinct is to look it up, try it in staging, and figure it out — not to interrupt a coworker or manager.
- A real appetite for learning new tools. This is non-negotiable for us. Our internal platform evolves month to month, and the person who thrives here is the one who opens a new feature and starts poking at it
- Comfortable with detail-heavy, repetitive production work and motivated by getting it right
- Familiarity with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Sheets, SEO concepts is a plus
- Experience with Claude Projects and emerging AI platforms.
What we offer
- $75,000 – $85,000 salary, with overtime paid when it happens
- Health insurance from day one, with the company covering 50% of medical premiums

*401(k), Student Loan Repayment, and PTO have waiting periods.
How to apply
Send a resume and answer one question in a few sentences:
What's a small system you built to make a repetitive part of your job better? A checklist, a naming convention, a spreadsheet, a folder structure, a shortcut you set up once and used a thousand times. We don't want the big transformation story. We want the unglamorous one. In our experience, the person who already has an answer ready for this question is usually the person we're looking for.
A note on AI. We screen submissions for generative AI, and we'll say plainly why. We are not anti-AI — we build with it every day and you will too. But we're hiring a person, not a prompt. A short, plainly written answer in your own voice will beat a polished one you didn't write, every single time.
