Responsibilities

- Assist in menu planning by providing input on grilling techniques and ingredient selections to enhance dish offerings.
- Handle food preparation tasks such as marinating, seasoning, portioning, and assembling ingredients for optimal flavor and presentation.
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health regulations, including proper storage, temperature control, and cross-contamination prevention.
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods by efficiently managing multiple orders while maintaining high standards of food quality.
- Contribute to a positive work environment by collaborating with team members and providing excellent service to both colleagues and guests.
Experience
- Previous experience working as a grill cook or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or food service setting.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety protocols.
- Experience in fine dining establishments or catering environments is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with menu planning, meal preparation, and food handling best practices.
- Demonstrated knife skills and proficiency in basic kitchen equipment operation.
- Background in the food industry with exposure to various culinary styles and kitchen experiences.
