Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews to inform diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Administer medications and injections accurately following prescribed protocols, including IV infusions and medication management.
- Assist with complex procedures such as suturing, catheterization, tube feeding, and sterile processing to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Manage emergency situations with skills in airway management, ventilator operation, acute pain management, and trauma medicine at Level I or Level II trauma centers.
- Document all patient interactions thoroughly using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Epic or Cerner while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on discharge planning, case management, and coordination of post-acute care services.
- Provide specialized care for diverse populations including those with developmental disabilities, memory care needs, behavioral health issues, or undergoing hospice & palliative medicine.
Qualifications
- Valid RN or LPN license with current state licensure.
- Experience working in hospital settings such as ICU or emergency rooms is highly preferred; critical care experience is a plus.
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner; familiarity with ICD-9/10 coding and medical documentation standards.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
- Experience in specialized areas like ophthalmology, cardiology (including cardiac catheterization), infectious disease care, or occupational health is desirable.
- Ability to perform procedures such as phlebotomy, venipuncture, aseptic technique, and sterile processing confidently.
- Excellent patient assessment skills with the ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments like urgent care or trauma centers.
- Compassionate approach to working with children, seniors in geriatrics or memory care units, individuals with disabilities or undergoing long-term treatments such as dialysis or ostomy care.
