As an Engineer, you are the backbone of that experience — the skilled, resourceful problem-solver who keeps every system, space, and piece of equipment running at its best so our guests never have to think twice about it. Working under the direction of the Operations Manager, this is a role for someone who takes genuine ownership of the property, works well independently, and understands that great hospitality starts with a well-maintained space.
What You'll Do
Maintenance & Repairs

Maintain all property equipment, systems, and building components including mechanical and electrical systems, pumps, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, locks, furniture, paint, wall coverings, and tile

Troubleshoot equipment issues, identify needs and parts, and make effective judgments on general repairs and maintenance

Complete all assigned projects according to specifications and on schedule by studying work orders and estimating time and resource requirements

Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked maintenance shop at all times

Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations throughout each shift
Guest Experience & Operations

Respond promptly and professionally to guest maintenance concerns and complaints, resolving issues with urgency and care

Work closely with the Operations Manager and Guest Service team to coordinate maintenance activities with daily hotel operations

Keep the Operations Manager promptly and fully informed of all problems, unusual findings, or significant maintenance matters requiring immediate attention

Assist other departments as needed to ensure seamless property operations
Experience & Education

High school diploma or equivalent required
-
Prior hotel engineering or facilities maintenance experience preferred

Working knowledge of HVAC, MEP systems, refrigeration, basic electrical, and plumbing required
Skills & Abilities

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively under limited supervision

Solid project management and organizational skills with knowledge of health and safety regulations
Physical & Schedule Requirements

Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs consistently throughout each shift
