Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in various fabrication processes. As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for interpreting schematics, operating machinery, and ensuring high-quality standards in the production of components. This role is essential in supporting our operations and delivering exceptional products to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Interpret and work from technical schematics and blueprints to fabricate components.
- Operate welding equipment, specifically FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), to join metal parts.
- Utilize plasma cutting tools for precise cutting of materials.
- Set up and operate press brake machines for bending metal sheets to specified angles.
- Perform pipe threading and ensure proper fittings for various applications.
- Use measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Safely operate cranes to lift and move heavy materials within the fabrication area.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members on construction sites as needed, ensuring timely project completion.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fabrication or a related field is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret technical documents.
- Familiarity with FCAW, plasma cutting, press brake operation, pipe threading, and crane operation is highly desirable.
- Proficient in using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers for quality assurance.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team on construction sites.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
