Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced independently licensed (LPC, LCSW, LAC) Clinical Director to lead our BHA-licensed and Joint Commission-accredited outpatient behavioral health and mental health services. In this pivotal role, you will oversee clinical operations, ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care, and foster a collaborative environment for our multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and supervision to licensed clinicians, therapists, case managers, and support staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and clinical standards.
- Oversee the intake process, conducting comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Develop, implement, and monitor evidence-based treatment programs including individual therapy, group therapy, behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and applied behavior analysis (ABA) in a Partial Hospital Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP).
- Manage clinical documentation accurately within electronic health records (EHR) systems while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 regulations and medical terminology standards.
- Coordinate crisis management and crisis intervention efforts for clients experiencing mental health or behavioral emergencies, including PTSD care and co-occurring disorders.
- Lead clinical team meetings, provide ongoing training in areas such as motivational interviewing, social work practices, substance use disorder treatment, autism spectrum disorder interventions, and special education strategies.
- Collaborate with families, schools, hospitals, and community agencies to support client progress through case management and client communication strategies.
Skills
- Proficiency in substance use disorder and mental health counseling techniques including psychotherapy, behavior management, social work principles, addiction counseling, and trauma-informed care.
- Strong knowledge of medical records management and EMR/EHR systems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead clinical teams effectively through supervision and clinical research initiatives.
- Skilled in crisis management, crisis intervention strategies, and working with individuals experiencing co-occurring disorders or mental health conditions.
- Familiarity with working across diverse cultural backgrounds while maintaining sensitivity to individual needs.
- Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments using diagnostic tools like ASAM, LOTUS and C-SSRS.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients’ families and multidisciplinary team members in a compassionate manner.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
