Job Title: Construction Laborer
As a Construction Laborer, you will be an essential part of our dynamic team, contributing to various construction projects with enthusiasm and dedication. Your role will involve hands-on work that supports the construction process from start to finish. You’ll collaborate with skilled tradespeople and help create safe, efficient, and high-quality fiber networks both aerial and underground.
What you’ll do
- Assist in the preparation and cleanup of job sites to ensure a safe working environment.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment necessary for construction activities.
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision to perform tasks effectively.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and skilled tradespeople to complete tasks accurately.
- Help with the installation of structures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress and safety protocols.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines to minimize risks on the job site.
Basic qualifications
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on various tasks as needed.
Preferred qualifications
- Previous experience in construction or a related field is advantageous.
- Familiarity with basic construction tools and equipment is a plus.
- Drivers license, Class A CDL is preferred and pays more.
