Position: Electro Mechanic I
Location: Plant City
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 4 days on / 4 days off
Pay Rate: $32.63/hour
Summary Description
While reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Electro Mechanic I is responsible for maintaining plant equipment reliability through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and continuous improvement efforts that minimize downtime and support safe plant operations.
What You’ll Be Doing
Perform maintenance tasks required to maintain equipment reliability and minimize downtime
Troubleshoot equipment, systems, and processes and make repairs as needed
Work safely and follow all plant safety rules and procedures
Pass electrical skills and safety testing to become a qualified Category 2 worker
Follow all electrical safety work practices
Work on electrical systems up to 480 volts
Troubleshoot and maintain PLCs, AC/DC motor controls, VFDs, and other electrical/electronic devices
Run conduit and cable management systems
Perform mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and building repairs
Work at heights up to 60 feet
Respond to emergency call-ins when required
Accurately report spare parts usage
Maintain housekeeping and organization in maintenance areas
Identify opportunities for equipment and process improvement
We’d Love to Hear From You If
You have 3 to 5 years of experience in an industrial maintenance environment
You have strong knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, and electrical/electronic systems
You can read and understand electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics
You can troubleshoot and repair equipment independently
You have proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and CMMS systems
You have strong general math skills
You are proficient with diagnostic tools such as multimeters, circuit locators, and thermal imaging equipment
You have strong verbal, written, and phone communication skills
You have strong organization and time management skills
