Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation by chopping, assembling, and organizing ingredients to ensure timely service
- Maintain cleanliness standards through regular cleaning, sanitizing workstations, and proper waste disposal
- Support bussing duties by clearing tables, resetting dining areas, and managing dishware efficiently
- Handle manual lifting of supplies, ingredients, and equipment following safe lifting practices to prevent injury
- Serve food and beverages to guests with friendly in-person customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and payment transactions accurately
- Support food running activities by delivering orders promptly from the kitchen to dining areas while maintaining quality standards
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a strong understanding of food handling procedures
- Knowledge of kitchen operations including cleaning, bussing, and basic food preparation techniques
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safe lifting practices
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and interact positively with guests
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order management
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
- Experience with in-person customer service and guest relations within hospitality settings
