Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise daily center operations, ensuring compliance with licensing regulations and safety standards.
- Oversee classroom activities, curriculum implementation, and child development instruction to promote holistic growth.
- Manage staff schedules, provide coaching on classroom management, behavior management, and caregiving best practices.
- Foster strong communication with parents and guardians through regular updates, meetings, and responsive support.
- Ensure all staff are trained in first aid, pediatric first aid, CPR, mandated reporting laws, and other essential safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records related to child attendance, developmental progress, incident reports, and licensing documentation.
- Promote a positive team environment that encourages professional growth and continuous improvement in early childhood education practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children across various age groups including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with disabilities.
- Strong background in child development instruction, classroom experience, daycare center experience or nannying is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles along with classroom management skills.
- Certification in first aid and CPR; pediatric first aid certification preferred.
- Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and behavior management strategies.
- Excellent communication skills for parent engagement and team collaboration.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education is a plus.

Pay: $38,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
