Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)Hybrid Contractor Position (Colorado)
Minimum 3 years of outpatient psychiatric NP experience required.
Aspen Leaf Holistic Mental Health is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about providing thoughtful, evidence-based psychiatric care while valuing a holistic, patient-centered approach.
This is a 1099 contractor position with primarily telepsychiatry visits. Occasional in-person appointments are required to meet DEA regulations; therefore, candidates must live in Colorado and be available to see patients in person as needed.
Only experienced PMHNPs licensed in Colorado will be considered.

Preference will be given to providers who are already credentialed through Headway.
What You'll Do
- Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations.
- Provide ongoing psychiatric medication management.
- Develop individualized treatment plans.
- Utilize both conventional psychiatric treatments and evidence-informed integrative approaches.
- Collaborate with therapists, primary care providers, and other healthcare professionals when appropriate.
- Provide care to children, adolescents, and adults.

Aspen Leaf Holistic Mental Health is a growing outpatient psychiatric practice serving Colorado through both telehealth and in-person care.
We specialize in treating ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and other psychiatric conditions using an individualized, evidence-based approach that integrates traditional psychiatric care with lifestyle medicine, nutritional support, and complementary treatments when appropriate.

Qualifications
- PMHNP-BC (Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner)
- Active, unrestricted Colorado APRN license.
- Active DEA registration.
- Minimum 3 years of outpatient psychiatric NP experience (required).
- Experience treating patients across the lifespan.
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to practice independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Already credentialed with Headway.
- Experience providing telepsychiatry services.
- Interest or experience in integrative or holistic psychiatry.
Compensation
1099 Independent Contractor
$125–$135 per hour of direct patient care, based on experience.
As with any private practice position, providers gradually build their patient panel over time. Compensation naturally increases as your schedule fills, and you have complete control over the number of patients you choose to see.

This position is ideal for providers seeking a collaborative, long-term practice environment. It is best suited for clinicians who value meaningful patient relationships, high-quality documentation, and practicing evidence-based psychiatry with an integrative approach. It may not be the best fit for providers seeking high-volume medication management or minimal documentation expectations.
