Position Overview
We are seeking a licensed home inspector to perform residential home inspections throughout the DMV area.
The ideal candidate is:
- Professional and personable
- Detail-oriented
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable communicating with clients and agents onsite
- Able to produce clear, high-quality reports
- Interested in growing with a modern inspection company
Responsibilities
- Perform residential home inspections
- Document findings accurately using inspection software
- Communicate findings clearly to clients onsite
- Upload reports within company turnaround standards
- Maintain professionalism with clients, agents, and team members
- Travel to inspection locations throughout assigned territory
Requirements
- Active home inspector license in Maryland, Virginia, or DC
- Reliable transportation
- Smartphone/tablet/laptop
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Weekend availability preferred
- Experience with Spectora or similar software is a plus
Additional certifications are a plus but not required:
- Radon
- Mold/Air Quality
- Sewer Scope
- WDI/Termite
Compensation
Compensation is performance-based and designed to reward productive inspectors.
Typical structure includes:
- Percentage split per inspection
- Additional pay for ancillary services/add-ons
- High earning potential with consistent volume
- Bonuses available based on customer satisfaction
