JOB
Under limited supervision, responsible for oversite of an institutional commissary, laundry and barber/beauty shop.
Supervise the operations efficiently & accurately.
Maintain accurate records.
Train, supervise Inmate workers.
Manage laundry & barber/beauty operations.
Ensure inmates are following proper procedures while washing/drying clothing.
Ensure proper sanitation and cleanliness of equipment and supplies.
Maintain machines in good working order.
Ensure distribution of inmate clothing chemicals, hygiene kits & janitorial supplies are in accordance to policy develop and implement a system to reduce& eliminate theft of laundry.
Prevent loss/theft by strict adherence to turn-in procedures & proper documentation.
Maintain the accuracy and accountability of records, monthly inventories, weekly recaps, postings and SCEIS entries. Respond to inmate request to staff (RTS) through kiosk.
Schedule subject to change.
Must successfully complete four (4) weeks of SCDC Basic Training upon hire.
