Overview:
We are seeking a sharp, proactive, detail-loving pediatric occupational therapist. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping children reach their fullest potential through individualized, evidence-based intervention.
$60-70 therapy hours,$ 80-100 evaluations, healthcare benefits package, $20,000 -relocation assistance, productivity bonuses, documentation bonuses, paid mentorship program, opportunities for advancement and learning opportunities about the business aspect of owning your own clinic, student loan repayment with two year contract.

Job Description
At Guidepost Pediatrics, we are dedicated to helping children reach their fullest potential. Our Occupational Therapists are highly skilled professionals with advanced training who should hold a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy, holds a state licensure in OT and is in good standing. Able to pass a state background check and able to be licensed in the state of Alaska.

We actively involve parents and caregivers, equipping them with strategies to support their child’s progress at home and in the community. We are an active Medbridge clinic that trains therapist in Medbridge and engages therapist and parents in utilizing the APP.
Evidence-Based Practice
Therapy plans are guided by research and clinical expertise, ensuring safe, effective, and modern approaches. We utilize many different tools and specialize training to address the many areas of practice. We seek therapists that are SOS trained and interested in cutting edge therapy training.

Progress takes time—our work is grounded in steady practice, persistence, and encouragement. We are consistently and constantly re-evaluating treatment goals and moving patients through goals and updating Plan of Care.

Roles/ Responsibilities:
As a valued member of our interdisciplinary team, the Occupational Therapist will:
- Conduct thorough evaluations to assess developmental, physical, sensory, and psychosocial needs of children.
- Design and implement individualized treatment programs tailored to enhance functional independence in self-care, fine and gross motor skills, sensory integration, play, and social participation.
- Apply evidence-based practices and innovative therapeutic techniques to support optimal growth and development.
- Provide family-centered care by working closely with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of support at home and school.
- Monitor and document progress regularly, adjusting interventions as needed to achieve measurable outcomes.
- Serve as a resource and advocate for children with special needs, promoting inclusion and empowerment.
- Engage in continuous learning, professional growth, and adherence to ethical standards in pediatric occupational therapy.
This role requires a strong passion for pediatric care, cultural adaptability, and the ability to work in both clinic-based and community settings.

Competitive Compensation: This is a contractor, full- time position paid $50- $65/ hour, with four (4) days work and three (3) days off work. Initial Evaluations are paid $80- $90.
