As an established Banquet/Catering Facility in Greenville, NC, we provide service, staffing, and custom menus for private and corporate events in Eastern North Carolina. We are currently seeking Banquet Bartenders. As a Banquet Bartender, you handle the mixed drinks and beverages for events. Your other responsibilities are to prepare the bar for an event and break down after. In some cases, you also manage a ticket or coupon system for drinks at the event. Another part of your job is to ensure that guests do not overindulge.
This position has the following requirements:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Prepare and serve a selection of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks while ensuring proper pouring, mixing, and blending according to ABC and RSC guidelines.
- Properly and accurately gather required alcohol and supplies based on selected bar package menu, polish and display required glassware, and maintain a clean and organized bar façade.
- Keep bar area neat and clean during service; maintain and clean equipment, utensils, and appliances
- Assist the team in set-up and breaking down buffet or other special food service tables and equipment.
- Each associate is expected to carry out all reasonable requests by management, which the associates are capable of performing.
- Continuous standing and walking throughout shift
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
