SkyRose Rejuvenation Clinic & Spa
Location: Orland Park, Illinois
Position: Aesthetic Nurse Injector
Reports To: Clinical Director / Practice Leadership
Position Type: Part-Time with Growth Opportunity
Compensation: Hourly + Performance-Based Incentives
POSITION SUMMARY
SkyRose Rejuvenation Clinic & Spa is seeking an experienced, confident, relationship-driven Aesthetic Nurse Injector to join our growing clinical team.
This is not a “come in, inject, and leave” position.
We are looking for a provider who understands that exceptional aesthetic medicine combines clinical skill, facial assessment, patient education, treatment planning, relationship building, retention, and an exceptional patient experience.
Our ideal injector does not simply ask:
"What would you like done today?"
Instead, they are able to assess the patient as a whole, listen to the patient's concerns, identify opportunities for improvement, educate the patient, and develop an individualized treatment plan designed to create natural, balanced results over time.
The Aesthetic Nurse Injector will work within the SkyRose clinical philosophy and treatment protocols while helping grow a loyal patient base and supporting the overall growth of the practice.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIESComprehensive Aesthetic Consultations
- Conduct thorough aesthetic consultations and facial assessments.
- Listen carefully to each patient's concerns, goals, previous treatments, and aesthetic preferences.
- Evaluate facial proportions, symmetry, volume loss, skin quality, movement, aging patterns, and overall facial harmony.
- Educate patients on appropriate treatment options.
- Establish realistic expectations regarding outcomes, longevity, number of treatments, and maintenance.
- Identify contraindications and determine appropriate candidacy for treatment.
- Create individualized short- and long-term treatment plans rather than focusing only on a single requested service.
- Confidently explain the clinical reasoning behind recommendations.
- Discuss treatment investment appropriately and transparently without creating a high-pressure environment.
Injectable Treatments
Safely and effectively perform aesthetic treatments within individual licensure, competency, training, SkyRose protocols, and applicable Illinois requirements, including:
- Neuromodulators
- Dermal fillers
- Facial balancing
- Lip augmentation
- Cheek enhancement
- Chin and jawline enhancement
- Lower-face rejuvenation
- Appropriate biostimulatory or regenerative aesthetic treatments for which the provider has been trained and credentialed
Providers must demonstrate strong knowledge of:
- Facial anatomy
- Vascular anatomy
- Injection safety
- Product selection
- Appropriate dosing
- Patient selection
- Complication recognition
- Complication management and escalation
- Emergency protocols
Patient safety and ethical treatment recommendations always take priority over revenue.
TREATMENT PLANNING
SkyRose providers are expected to think beyond today's appointment.
The injector should be able to develop treatment plans that may include:
Phase 1 — Correction
Address the patient's highest-priority concerns.
Phase 2 — Enhancement
Improve balance, proportion, structure, or additional areas identified during consultation.
Phase 3 — Skin & Regeneration
Integrate appropriate skin-quality or regenerative treatments.
Phase 4 — Maintenance
Establish an appropriate schedule to maintain results.
Not every patient requires every phase.
Recommendations must always be clinically appropriate and individualized.
PATIENT EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Create an environment in which patients feel heard, respected, educated, and never rushed.
- Explain procedures, expected outcomes, risks, alternatives, downtime, and aftercare.
- Educate patients regarding why certain treatments may or may not be appropriate.
- Be comfortable telling a patient “no” when a requested treatment is unsafe, unnecessary, or unlikely to produce an appropriate result.
- Provide a luxury, personalized patient experience consistent with SkyRose standards.
- Build trust through education rather than pressure.
PATIENT RETENTION & CONTINUITY OF CARE
Providers are expected to participate actively in patient retention.
This includes:
- Clearly communicating when the patient should return.
- Establishing the next recommended phase of treatment.
- Recommending appropriate maintenance intervals.
- Conducting appropriate follow-up.
- Supporting rebooking before the patient leaves.
- Collaborating with the Guest Relations & Patient Experience Coordinator to ensure treatment recommendations are communicated accurately.
- Reviewing patient progress over time.
- Building long-term provider-patient relationships.
The goal is not simply to complete today's procedure.
The goal is to become the patient's trusted aesthetic provider.
TEAM HANDOFF
Before the patient checks out, the injector should clearly communicate to the Patient Experience Coordinator:
What was completed today → what comes next → when it should occur.
Example:
"Today we completed Phase 1 of her treatment plan. I would like her back in two weeks for follow-up and approximately eight weeks from now to begin Phase 2."
This allows the front-of-house team to confidently coordinate the patient's next appointment without attempting to make clinical recommendations themselves.
CLINICAL DOCUMENTATION
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Document assessments, recommendations, informed consent, treatments, products, lot numbers, injection sites, dosing, and patient response as required.
- Maintain appropriate before-and-after photography.
- Follow HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements.
- Complete documentation before the end of the assigned clinical day whenever possible.
- Follow all SkyRose clinical protocols, policies, procedures, and standing orders applicable to the role.
BEFORE & AFTER PHOTOGRAPHY
Providers are expected to understand the importance of consistent clinical photography.
Responsibilities include:
- Obtaining standardized before photographs.
- Obtaining follow-up/after photographs when appropriate.
- Following established lighting, positioning, angle, and background standards.
- Ensuring appropriate consent is documented before photographs are used for marketing.
- Identifying strong clinical cases that may be appropriate for educational or marketing content when the patient has provided proper authorization.
PRACTICE GROWTH
The Aesthetic Nurse Injector should understand that building a successful aesthetic practice requires more than technical injection skills.
Providers are expected to:
- Build and retain their patient panel.
- Develop strong patient relationships.
- Encourage appropriate follow-up and maintenance.
- Participate in practice events and promotional initiatives when scheduled.
- Support membership programs when appropriate for the patient's treatment plan.
- Participate in educational and marketing content when requested.
- Maintain awareness of individual performance and retention metrics.
- Help create an environment where patients want to return and refer others.
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
Performance may be evaluated using a balanced combination of clinical, patient-experience, and business metrics, including:
- Patient safety
- Clinical outcomes
- Patient satisfaction
- Consultation-to-treatment conversion
- Average patient investment
- Treatment-plan acceptance
- Treatment-plan continuation
- Rebooking rate
- Patient retention
- New versus returning patient ratio
- Schedule utilization
- Provider production
- Documentation compliance
- Before-and-after photography compliance
- Membership referrals/conversions when clinically appropriate
- Reviews and patient referrals
- Complication and follow-up management
Revenue will never supersede clinical judgment or patient safety.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license appropriate for the position in Illinois.

- Ability to recognize and appropriately respond to aesthetic complications and medical emergencies.

- Established before-and-after portfolio.
- Experience with Aesthetic Record or similar aesthetic EMR.
- Existing local patient following is a plus, but not required.

THE PROVIDER WE WANT
Technical skill matters.

We are looking for someone who is:
- Clinically confident
- Ethical
- Warm and personable
- Highly coachable
- Professional
- Detail-oriented
- Growth-minded
- Comfortable educating patients
- Comfortable discussing comprehensive treatment plans
- Comfortable discussing investment without becoming sales-driven
- Able to receive clinical feedback
- Collaborative rather than territorial
- Interested in building a patient panel

- Passionate about natural, balanced aesthetic outcomes
THIS POSITION MAY NOT BE THE RIGHT FIT IF YOU:
- Prefer only performing the treatment requested without completing a full assessment.
- Are uncomfortable discussing additional clinically appropriate recommendations.
- Do not enjoy consultations.
- Expect the front desk to be solely responsible for patient retention.
- Are uncomfortable being photographed or participating occasionally in educational content.
- Do not want your performance measured.
- Prefer working completely independently of standardized protocols.
- Are primarily looking for access to products, discounted treatments, or a place to inject personal clients.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
A successful SkyRose injector should eventually be able to take a patient from:
Consultation → Assessment → Customized Treatment Plan → Treatment → Follow-Up → Next Phase → Maintenance
while delivering a consistent SkyRose-level experience at every stage.
Our objective is not to create providers who simply fill appointment slots.
We are building providers whose patients trust them, return to them, refer to them, and choose SkyRose for their long-term aesthetic journey.
