Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas. The ideal candidate will ensure a welcoming environment for guests by providing exceptional cleaning services, adhering to hotel standards, and maintaining a high level of hospitality. This role is essential in delivering a positive guest experience and upholding the hotel's reputation for cleanliness and comfort.
Duties
- Clean and disinfect guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces
- Perform floor care duties such as mopping, sweeping, and carpet cleaning to ensure pristine floors
- Restock amenities such as towels, toiletries, and linens to meet guest needs
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and elevators
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to management
- Adhere to hotel policies regarding guest privacy and confidentiality
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality
Experience
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial services is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Experience with floor care techniques and industrial cleaning methods is advantageous
- Background in hospitality or custodial management can be beneficial for advancement opportunities
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment, supplies, and safety procedures is a plus
