Overview
This position is responsible for ensuring production Up Time. Ensure all presses are running correctly and accurately to increase production/press time and efficiency. Complete all work orders as set forth verbally or written communication presented by management.
The essential job functions include, but are not limited to:
· Diagnose and repair robot, water, and press malfunctions
· Troubleshoot various mechanical and equipment failures to determine needed repairs.
· Water and cooling tower maintenance
· Replace broken or worn hydraulic lines and replace hydraulic cylinders as necessary
· Repair equipment throughout the plant.
· Maintain startup check sheets for auditing purposes
· Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on all equipment and complete documentation
· Perform all work in a timely, safe and workman like manner
The position requirements are:
· General mathematic ability
· Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple to complex instructions, short correspondence, and memos
· Ability to exercise initiative, judgment, and decision-making objectives
· Ability to maintain confidentiality when processing sensitive information
· High School Diploma or equivalent. A trade and industry certification preferred
· Two years mechanical, machining, assembly preferred
· Ability to perform basic math functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division including understanding fractions and percentages
