Oasis Homecare is seeking to hire an experienced caregiver to join our team from Greenville, SC. We have immediate part-time positions available. You can make a difference in your career by helping people stay in the comfort of their homes. Must be willing to work anytime between the hours of 9AM to 9PM with multiple clients.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living which include (but are not limited to):
· Personal care (assisting to bathroom or in using a bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, shaving, skin, and hair)
· Ambulation/Transfers
· Eating
· Dressing/Shaving
· Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions
· Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments.
· Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathroom
Performs patient-specific activities that are taught by a our nurse . These could include (but are not limited to):
· Medication reminders
· Assisting with the prescribed range of motion exercises
· Measuring and preparing special diets
· Understanding dementia care
· Incontinence care
Qualifications and Skills:
· High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.
· 3 years of experience as a Caregiver/ Personal Care Assistant in the homes or facilities.
· Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
· Possess a valid driver’s license and insured vehicle
Duties:
- Reading, writing, and carrying out directions
- Charting or taking notes for others to review
- Providing companionship and supportive listening
- Reporting changes in the health or status of the client
- Feeding clients
- Transporting client to appointments
- Facilitating community and recreational outings, including transport
- Providing support with hobbies, studies, and social activities
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
