CXP Solutions is a specialty high-purity mechanical services contractor based in Sanford, NC. We clean, passivate, and flush the piping systems inside the facilities most people never get to see — data centers, pharmaceutical manufacturing plants, aerospace facilities, and nuclear power stations. When a system has to be certified clean before it goes live, we're the crew that gets called.
We are hiring two Entry-Level Field Technicians right now and training them from the ground up. If you show up on time, work hard, and take pride in doing things right, we will teach you a skilled trade that very few people in the country actually know how to do.
What You'll Be Doing
- Assembling and breaking down temporary piping, hoses, pumps, and filtration equipment on job sites
- Running chemical cleaning, passivation, and high-velocity flushing operations under the direction of a Crew Lead
- Mixing and handling cleaning chemistries safely using the PPE and procedures we train you on
- Taking and logging water quality readings — pH, conductivity, turbidity, flow, temperature
- Keeping accurate field documentation that becomes part of the customer's permanent quality record
- Loading, unloading, and maintaining tools, hoses, and equipment
- Keeping the work area clean, organized, and safe — every single day
Travel — Read This Part Carefully
This is a travel job. Most project work is out of town, and assignments typically run one to two weeks at a time, though some projects run for months. We work across multiple states.
While you are traveling, CXP covers your lodging, meals, and incidental expenses. You are not paying out of pocket to work for us. On extended projects, we schedule trips home — if you need time back with your family, we work it into the schedule. We'd rather plan around it than lose a good technician.
What We're Looking For
- 18 years or older
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to our Sanford shop
- Willingness to travel for extended periods, including multi-month assignments
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check, and participate in our random drug testing program
- Comfortable with physical work: lifting 50+ lbs, standing for long periods, working outdoors in heat and cold, climbing ladders, and working around industrial equipment
- A good attitude and the willingness to learn. That matters more to us than a résumé.
Helpful, But Not Required
- Any mechanical, construction, plumbing, welding, automotive, or industrial background
- Experience with hand and power tools
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
- Forklift, aerial lift, or confined space training
- Clean driving record for operating company vehicles

Pay: $41,600.00 - $52,000.00 per year
