Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Fanuc Robot Programmer to join our manufacturing engineering team. This role involves developing, testing, and optimizing robotic automation solutions to enhance production efficiency and quality. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in programming Fanuc industrial robots, integrating robotics systems within manufacturing environments, and troubleshooting complex automation issues. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative manufacturing processes, utilizing advanced robotics and control systems to drive operational excellence.
Duties
- Develop and implement robot programs for Fanuc robotic systems, ensuring precise operation aligned with production specifications
- Configure and optimize human-machine interface (HMI) systems for seamless operator interaction with robotic processes
- Integrate industrial networks and control systems, including PLCs and distributed control systems, to facilitate reliable communication across automation equipment
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and blueprints to support installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities
- Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and repair of Fanuc robots and associated industrial electrical systems
- Conduct root cause analysis on robotic or automation failures, implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers and electrical technicians to develop tooling, fixtures, and machining setups supporting robotic operations
- Utilize CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks for designing tooling or modifications required for robotic applications
- Troubleshoot PLC systems including ladder logic (LD), industrial controls, and wiring diagrams to resolve automation issues efficiently
- Support lean manufacturing initiatives by optimizing robotic workflows for efficiency and waste reduction
- Document programming procedures, system configurations, and troubleshooting steps for future reference

· MATERIAL HANDLING CELLS
AND HAVING ALLEN BRADLEY AND/OR SIEMENS IS A HUGE PLUS
