Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up the breakfast buffet, ensuring all items are fresh, appealing, and well-presented
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, adhering to food safety sanitizing procedures at all times
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while providing friendly, attentive customer service
- Restock supplies, condiments, and utensils as needed to ensure smooth service flow
- Assist with food handling and preparation tasks in accordance with food safety management standards
- Monitor the buffet for quality control, removing expired or spoiled items promptly
- Follow manual handling protocols when lifting or moving heavy supplies or equipment
- Operate POS systems accurately for any guest transactions related to breakfast service
- Uphold dietary guidelines and accommodate special dietary needs or restrictions when possible
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments is highly preferred
- Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling practices is essential
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to handle manual tasks such as weight handling in the workplace safely and efficiently
- Food industry experience demonstrating understanding of food safety management and food preparation techniques
