ABOUT US
We launched our first frozen yogurt spot in the Country Club Plaza back in 2010 and have been expanding ever since—opening locations in Shoal Creek (2018) and Overland Park (2020). Last year, we opened two more locations in the Kansas City metro (Zona Rosa and Lenexa), with another location coming in early 2027 in Olathe!
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We have a small management staff among the five stores that manage around 70 employees. We are looking for someone who loves being hands-on, has open communication, open to growth, and loves working with a team. Furthermore, we will coach the right person for this role, with the goal in mind to be the next Shift Manager or Assistant Manager, if desired.
PURPOSE
- To contribute to the success of the store by ensuring service experience standards are met and exceeded at all times during the shift.
- To assist the store manager and/or assistant manager with daily operating procedures such as promoting yogurt sales, and supervising store staff development.
- To act as a role model while providing guidance.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- To record and be accountable for store funds while running a shift
- To ensure all cash handling and cash register functions are performed in an accurate and consistent manner.
- To coach new hires throughout their learning.
- To ensure all company policies, store operating standards, and procedures are communicated effectively and maintained and followed consistently.
- To organize work through the store in a manner that facilitates efficient customer service.
- To perform and help direct others to complete the cleaning and operational tasks in accordance with the store duties.
- To multitask, prioritize, organize, and delegate work with follow through
- To place orders and perform special projects to assist with shift operations.
- To assist in store scheduling and adjust staffing to meet store and business needs during shift.
- To perform and complete all Pre- and Post- shift duties and responsibilities.
- To assist store staff as a Team Member
Summary of Daily Shift Leader Tasks:
- Ability to open the store
- Ability to close the store
- Effectively perform midday closes and nightly closes of the registers
- Perform machine cleaning & flavor changes (must be available for machine cleaning days)
- Train new team members and shift leaders, utilizing the Onboarding & Training Guide
- Effectively lead a shift and command the respect of your team
- Constant and consistent communication with your managers
- Active in General & Shift Leader Discord channel
- Print coloring pages, Books For Yo Bookmarks, and any other files needed when necessary
