Manage the Compliance Department’s daily operations. Implement Department policies/procedures. Manage the training and scheduling of Compliance Department team members. Evaluate applicants for employment and conduct Interviews for Compliance positions. Maintain adherence to all laws and regulations to include tribal, state and federal, for all gaming operations. Brief Executive Director on department issues/concerns/occurrences as needed/required.

Manage the daily operations of the Compliance Department
- Maintain excellent communication with all departments as needed/required.
- Plan and promote Department training.

Implement policies and procedures to include oversight and enforcement of gaming departmental procedures as needed/required.

Review and deliver necessary appraisals and/or disciplines to department team members.
- Maintain and establish budgets for the department.
- Facilitate hiring/terminating of Department personnel

Act as a liaison between the organization and state/federal agencies

Review MICS Audits and Follow Up’s to ensure and verify compliance within the Internal Audit requirements.

Mentor Compliance team members toward career advancement.

High School diploma or GED required.
- Minimum five (5) years gaming compliance experience required.

Knowledge of National Indian Gaming Commission licensing and compliance regulations.
- Valid drivers license and the ability to obtain a NIGC key license.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.), internet software and appropriate storage of electronic files.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience providing necessary background for the position).
