Wavenet, a growing OEM importer and distributor of low-voltage communication cables serving distributors across the United States and Canada, is seeking a motivated, organized, and customer focused Sales Support Representative to join our growing team. This role combines inside sales, account management, and customer support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and contributing to business growth.
The ideal candidate is proactive, detail oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You'll work closely with customers and sales representatives, helping manage accounts, generate sales opportunities, and ensure an exceptional customer experience from quote to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Support sales representatives by managing customer accounts and identifying sales opportunities.
- Follow up on quotations and customer inquiries to help drive sales.
- Answer inbound customer calls and make proactive outbound follow-up calls.
- Recommend products based on customer needs and provide technical product information.
- Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate customer records, pricing, and account information.
- Assist with administrative duties and special projects as needed.
- Learn and stay up to date on Wavenet's products and solutions.
Qualifications
- 1+ year of inside sales, sales support, account management, or customer service experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
- High attention to detail and strong data entry accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Experience with ERP or CRM software (QuickBooks experience is a plus).
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- References required upon request.
