We are seeking a dedicated Swing Shift Production Associate to join our manufacturing team. This role is essential in supporting our production operations during business hours, ensuring that products are assembled efficiently, safely, and to quality standards. The ideal candidate will have factory experience, mechanical aptitude, and familiarity with the manufacturing processes. The Swing Shift Production Associate will contribute directly to the timely delivery of high-quality products by operating equipment, assembling components, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Responsibilities
- Operate manufacturing equipment and machinery safely and efficiently during the swing shift hours
- Use hand tools, power tools, and mechanical knowledge to assemble components according to specifications
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace to ensure a safe working environment
- Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues and perform minor repairs or adjustments on machinery
- Support the assembly line by ensuring continuous flow of materials and completed products
- Conduct quality checks on assembled products to meet company standards
- Maintain accurate documentation of production activities and report any discrepancies or issues promptly
- Collaborate with team members across departments such as warehouse, quality control, and maintenance
- Adhere to all manufacturing procedures, safety guidelines, and company policies
Qualifications
- Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience is highly preferred
- Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with assembly line processes
- Strong understanding of manufacturing safety standards and protocols
- Ability to work efficiently during morning and evening shifts with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
- Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management is a plus
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
