Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Communicate effectively with clients, caregivers, and healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and address individual needs.
- Administer basic nursing care to patients, with a focus on geriatric populations, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Perform medical documentation accurately, including recording patient observations, treatments, and progress notes.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems to ensure all patient information is up-to-date, complete, and compliant with privacy standards.
- Maintain current CPR certification and respond promptly to emergency situations as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatments.
Qualifications
- Valid state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- Proven experience working with geriatric patients preferred.
- Current CPR certification required.
- Strong communication skills for client interaction and caregiver collaboration.
- Proficiency in medical documentation and electronic health record management.
- Compassionate attitude with a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
