Position Summary
Hampton Inn Belton is seeking a dependable, energetic, and guest-focused team member to serve as a Laundry Attendant / Breakfast Attendant. This dual-role position is responsible for maintaining clean hotel linens and providing an exceptional complimentary breakfast experience for guests. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Duties are based on common Hampton Inn and hotel industry standards for breakfast service and laundry operations.
Essential ResponsibilitiesBreakfast Attendant Duties
- Set up, stock, and maintain the complimentary breakfast area before service.
- Prepare and replenish breakfast items, coffee, juice, and other beverages.
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Keep breakfast and lobby areas clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout service.
- Clean tables, counters, equipment, and serving areas.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify management of supply needs.
- Break down and clean breakfast area after service.
Laundry Attendant Duties
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens, towels, and other laundry items.
- Inspect linens for stains, damage, and cleanliness standards.
- Maintain laundry equipment and report any maintenance concerns.
- Keep laundry room clean, organized, and safe.
- Stock housekeeping linen closets as needed.
- Follow proper chemical handling and safety procedures.
- Assist housekeeping department when business needs require.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous hotel, laundry, housekeeping, or food service experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry up to 30 pounds throughout the shift.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Standing and walking for extended periods.
- Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying of laundry and supplies.
- Ability to work in warm laundry room conditions and fast-paced breakfast service environments.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $15.50 per hour
