POSITION SUMMARY
This a leadership position that directly supervises Community Health Aide Program personnel and manages the day-to-day business operations of a village health clinic. They organize and maintain staff schedules, host team meetings, identify needs and process improvements, and ensures all reports are submitted to CHAP Administration. They manage and maintain the workflow of the clinic to ensure proper procedures and guidelines are followed for self and all staff. This position reports to the CHAP Manager. This position does not provide direct patient care.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Schedule and manage personnel to staff clinic operations for regular clinic hours as well as after hour’s on-call personnel.
- Provides personnel management for clinic staff including timekeeping, leave approval, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, conflict resolution, and teambuilding exercises that supports a healthy work environment for clinic staff.
- Ensures safety of all staff/patients and serves as liaison to appropriate department regarding employee self-care, corporate compliance, facilities maintenance repairs, janitorial services, and upkeep of clinic equipment.
- Actively recruits, hires, and on-boards newly hired health aides, medication technicians, and administrative assistants.
- Monitors and communicates the training, certification, and licensure needs of all CHAP staff at a clinic.
- Perform routine Environment of Care inspections and report findings to appropriate programs.
- Conducts clinic fire and disaster drills and ensures drill documentation is submitted to the appropriate departments.

- Health Stream requirements
- Employee Health Requirements
- Annual Performance Reviews
- Manage SQSS for all staff to include processing and training for the following:
- Action Reports and Incident Reports following the procedures, policies, and guidelines.
- Manage and submit Blood Borne Pathogen Incident Reports
- Assist with Workman’s Compensation Claims
- Ensures that all required medical and program reports are submitted to CHAP Administration.
- Ensures Point of Care and Controlled Medication Logs are maintained by appropriate staff.
- Demonstrate a positive role model representing CHAP and his/her respective community.
- Other duties as assigned.
