Job Description:
The Survey Project Manager will be responsible for managing and producing a variety of land surveying projects from proposal through completion. This role involves technical oversight, project coordination, quality control, client communication, and oversight of both field and office personnel.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve as Project Manager for assigned surveying projects, including:
- Boundary surveys
- Topographic surveys
- ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys
- Right-of-way plans
- Subdivision Plats
- Easements, legal descriptions, and exhibits
- Prepare and manage project proposals, schedules, and budgets
- Communicate directly with clients and coordinate with our engineering staff
- Plan, assign, and direct work for field and office survey staff
- Provide professional QA/QC review prior to project delivery
- Mentor and develop survey staff on technical standards and quality expectations
Qualifications:
- Licensed Professional Surveyor (PS) in Ohio
- Minimum 5+ years of land surveying experience
- Strong knowledge of boundary, ALTA standards, and right-of-way surveying
- Experience preparing and reviewing subdivision plats, legal descriptions, and survey exhibits
- Proficiency with survey software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center)
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
Pay: $66,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
